The USB fridge is a nifty USB gadget, or rather appliance, that falls under the category of very cool but needing a little advancement to be truly utile and useable. There are a few models out now but they all share the same deficiency, as with most USB novelty devices: too little power. The USB fridge is actually not a fridge per se, as it uses a cooling pad rather than having a refrigeration unit and insulated lining. USB fridge sides and door are not insulated and the unit relies solely upon the cooling power of the cold pad.
