Registration with the partner institution The partner institution will contact you either directly or through the coordinator of the Erasmus partner countries and/or the departmental coordinator of the relevant project. They inform you of your institution`s application process. In most cases, you must either apply online or submit certain application files (for example. B application form, grant agreement, registration protocol (AGNES), etc.). Apprenticeship Agreement The Erasmus scholarship for students is currently 650 euros per month. In many partner countries, this amount is sufficient to pay for all the costs of living. In other countries, you should expect a significantly higher cost of living (800-1200 euros per month) than in Berlin, depending on the country and place of study. You should calculate 50% of your monthly rent allowance. It is possible to obtain a “foreign BAf-G” (a student loan financed by the federal government) during student mobility (Erasmus loans of up to 300 euros per month are not counted as income) or you can apply for a student loan (CHE offers a comparison between student lenders). It is not possible to finance the same expenditure in parallel or in duplicate with other EU programmes.
